Seeding Phase

A small selection of qualifier songs (between 2 and 5 songs) will be announced 1-2 months before the date of the tournament.

You must submit at least one score per song before the established deadline.

The sum of your EX-scores will be used to determine your seeding in the tournament.

Higher scores = Higher seed

Based on your seeding, you will either begin in the Pools Phase or seed directly into the Brackets Phase.
Pools Phase

Players are divided into groups with other players of similar skill level, based on seeding number.

(Higher seed = Higher group)

The number of groups/players per group will depend on the number of registered players.

Higher groups will have empty slots for winners of the previous groups.

Each round, one group will play through a selection of songs in an established order.

Before the round starts, the songs will be selected by each player in the group (1 song per player)

A fair minimum and maximum difficulty range will be enforced for each group to ensure all competitors can play competently.

Higher group = Higher difficulties

All obtained EX-scores will be saved to a scoreboard on a per-song basis.

You will obtain one point for each player that scored below you on each song.

After all players have finished the songs, scores will be tallied.

The player(s) with the most points will advance to the next group to play against higher seeding opponents.The winner(s) of the final round will advance to the Brackets Phase. .
Brackets Phase

Players are placed into a single or double elimination bracket (based on number of registered players)

Each round, two players will draw a randomized set of songs within an established difficulty range (based on round number)

The opponents will take turns protecting and vetoing the drawn set of songs until 3 songs remain.

The three remaining songs will be played in order.

You will obtain one point for each song you obtain a higher EX score on

The first player to reach two points advances to the next round. (Best of 3)
Finals
-
Losers Finals, Winners Finals and Grand Finals will be a best of five.

The opponents will take turns protecting and vetoing the drawn set of songs until 5 songs remain.

The five remaining songs will be played in order.
-
The first player to reach three points wins the tournament.
